Sandra Allen Causey

Sandra was first elected in 1985 after the passing of her father, W. O. Mincey and has held this position for the past 23 years. Mr. Mincey had held the position for 13 years previous and Sandra worked with her father before being elected herself.

Sandra, 52, is a Democrat and a lifelong resident of Ward 7. She is married to Ronnie Causey, the unopposed Constable for Ward 7. This is Ronnie‘s first term as Constable.

Sandra has one daughter and two grandchildren.

During her 23 years of service as Justice of the peace, Sandra has handled many small claims cases, arrest warrants and evictions. She is knowledgeable and qualified to perform the duties of Justice of the Peace. Sandra has also performed over 2000 weddings.

Sandra is a graduate of Denham Springs High School. She is a member of the Justice of the Peace and Constables Association and the Notary Association. She is also a Notary and Mobile Notary (she will travel to your work or residence) for the past 21 years.
She has attended Justice of the Peace Seminars every other year.
